Warehouses and items
The storage tree (warehouse, room, rack, bin) and the list of stock items.
Step 1 — Warehouses and storage
Menu Inventory → Warehouses & Storage. Storage is organised in levels:
Warehouse (Jakarta Warehouse)
└── Room (Stationery Room)
└── Rack (Rack A)
└── Bin (Rack A level 1)
- Apart from warehouses, every storage has a parent at a higher level. Levels may be skipped (a rack directly in a warehouse).
- The code is automatic (
LOC-0001) when empty. - Every storage has a QR label. See QR labels.
Step 2 — Items
Menu Inventory → Stock Items.
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Code (SKU), name, category | |
| Barcode | Optional. Scan it with a scanner to fill a document line |
| Unit | pcs, box, ream, kg, and so on |
| Minimum stock | The item is flagged low when its total stock is below this number |
Viewing stock
Menu Inventory → Stock: stock per item and per storage. Scanning a storage label shows its contents, including the assets kept there.
Delete = deactivate: a deleted warehouse or item cannot be used in new documents; its stock records stay.
