Attendance settings
Working hours, working days, late tolerance, GPS locations, office networks, holidays and exemptions.
Menu Attendance → Attendance Settings. Until you save, Alurco uses the defaults.
Step 1 — Schedule
| Setting | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Start / end of work | 08:00 / 17:00 | Company time zone. Night shifts are not supported yet |
| Working days | Monday–Friday | Other days are rest days |
| Late tolerance | 0 minutes | Lateness is counted from the start time once the tolerance has passed |
Step 2 — How location is checked
| Mode | Clocking is accepted when |
|---|---|
| GPS | The position is within the radius of an office location |
| IP | The device is on the office internet connection |
| Either (default) | GPS or IP passes |
| Both | GPS and IP pass |
Important: the GPS position is reported by the device and can be faked. IP or Both is stronger.
Step 3 — Locations and networks
- Office locations: name, coordinates, radius of 10–5000 metres.
- Office networks: the office's public IP or a range (CIDR), for example
103.10.20.0/24.
Step 4 — Holidays and exemptions
- Holidays: company holidays. Work on those days counts as full overtime.
- Exemptions: employees who may clock in anywhere, for example field sales.
Overtime settings are on the same page; see Overtime.
