Steps after your company is approved

The owner's checklist from zero until employees can clock in, submit claims and request purchases.

Follow this order. Each step prepares data the next step needs. Steps marked optional can be skipped if you do not use the feature.

Step 1 — Complete the company profile

Menu Master → Company: address, logo, tax number, start of the fiscal year. The logo and address appear on printed documents (purchase requests, orders, bills). Details: Company profile.

Step 2 — Set up document numbering

Menu Settings → Numbering. Standard formats are already set (for example PO/2026/10/00001). Change them now if your company has its own format, or to continue numbers from a paper register. Details: Document numbering.

Step 3 — Build the organization

Menu Personnel:

  1. Organization Types: COMPANY, DIV, DEPT and TEAM already exist.
  2. Organization: create divisions and departments under the top unit.
  3. Positions and Job Grades: examples exist; adjust their names and salary ranges.

Details: Organization structure.

Step 4 — Add employees

Menu Personnel → Employees. Enter the main data, then the assignment (unit, position, grade, manager, employment type). The manager decides who approves overtime, attendance corrections and expense claims. Details: Employees.

Admin Day-to-day management: everything except ownership
Employee Staff: their own attendance, overtime, claims, bookings, purchase and legal requests
Director Like Employee, plus seeing and approving the team below them
Finance Staff / Finance Manager The finance team: staff prepare, the manager posts and pays

Create more roles when needed, for example "Purchasing" or "Legal". Details: Roles and permissions.

Step 6 — Create accounts for your team

Menu Settings → Members:

  • Create account for people who do not have an Alurco account yet, and link it to their employee record. This is required for employees to clock in and submit claims.
  • Invite people who already have an Alurco account.

Details: Team members.
