Translation: freelancers, rates and payouts

For admins and finance, covering adding freelancers, filling the rate card, and monthly payouts into vendor bills.

Add-on: TRANSLATION

Freelancers

Menu Translation → Freelancers. Freelancers are not employees: no salary, no attendance, not counted in the employee quota.

Add one at a time: code (for example DTA-02-00624), name, email, language pairs, job types (TRANSLATE, QA, PROOFREAD, LQA), country, payment currency, withholding tax (for example PPh 21), minimum payout, bank account and tax number. At the same time:

  • a login account with the Freelancer role is created. A new email gets a "choose your password" email; an email that already has an account gets an invitation;
  • vendor data for payments is created.

Import: up to 200 rows at once. The result per row: created, invited, or failed with the reason.

Deactivating a freelancer stops new assignments; finished work can still be claimed and paid.

Rate card

Menu Translation → Rate Card. One rate per combination:

Project type Language pair Job Unit Currency Rate
WEBNOVEL CN-ID TRANSLATE WC IDR 120
WEBNOVEL CN-ID PROOFREAD WC IDR 40
GAMING EN-ID LQA HOUR IDR 75000

Rates may have up to 6 decimals (for example 0.018 USD per word). A claim uses the stage's specific rate when the PM set one; otherwise the rate card in the freelancer's currency.

Monthly payouts

Menu Translation → Payouts.

  1. Choose the month → Preview: claims approved until the end of that month, per freelancer and currency. Those below the minimum payout are marked held until a later month.
  2. Run with the bill date. For each freelancer one draft vendor bill is created in finance (one line per claim, with the withholding tax). The claims become Billed.
  3. Continue in Finance → Vendor Bills: check, post and pay them like any vendor bill.

If one freelancer fails (an account not set up, for example), the others are still processed and the reason is shown.
