Translation: for project managers
Translation projects with stages, documents, freelancer assignment, revisions and claim approval.
Translation add-on module. A PM sees only their own projects.
Step 1 — Create a translation project
Menu Translation → Projects & Documents → Add.
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Name, customer, dates | As for any project |
| Project type | A free code, for example WEBNOVEL, GAMING, SUBTITLE. Used to find the rate |
| Language pair | For example CN-ID, EN-ID |
| Stages | TRANSLATE always first and PROOFREAD always last. QA and/or LQA in between are optional |
| Default unit | Per word (WC), coefficient (COEFF) or per hour (HOUR) |
Step 2 — Add documents
One document = one file, chapter or episode. Enter the file name, title (for example CH 251), volume and unit, and the
delivery deadline to the client. Up to 200 documents at once.
Each document gets the project's stages automatically: the first stage is ready, the rest waiting.
Step 3 — Assign freelancers
For each stage: choose a freelancer, planned start and deadline. Optional: a specific volume and a specific rate.
- The freelancer must do that stage's job type (for example QA).
- The same person on two stages of one document shows a warning. Confirm if it is intended.
- A language pair not listed in the freelancer's profile is only a warning.
Step 4 — Follow up and revise
The document detail shows each stage's status, the delivered files and the history. When the previous stage's work needs fixing, send it back for revision with a note: that stage opens again with round +1.
A document is completed when every stage is done.
Step 5 — Approve claims
Once the document is completed, each freelancer claims their stage. The Claims menu (and the notification bell) shows claims waiting. Approve, or reject with a note. A stage whose claim was rejected can be claimed again.
